hopefully i'll be able to get the snapped bolts out of the engine to put
new ones in, otherwise you'll see a post here for a new block as well.

Absolute worst case would be the need for a new head due to the snapped
bolt. More likely you would be able to use a left hand thread drill
followed by an easy out to remove it. Possibly even with the head still
on the engine, pop out the inner fenderwell. Or pull the head and take
it to a machine shop and they will be able to get it out for small
money.
Note the above all assumes you are talking about the exhaust manifold
bolts.......
