Thanks jon :o)

All of the mdf....bottom, back, and all speaker flanges are rabbited on the
edge with a router....1/4 x 1/4

you staple and glue fleece to the bottom front edge, then pull it over the
rings and staple / glue the back / top. Next you staple all around each
speaker flange....this pulls the fleece very tight and makes the curves.
Three coats of resin first to make a hard shell, then 5 to 7 layers of
fiberglass using 4" x 12" pieces. One layer runing one way, next layer
running the other, the next on an angle, then start over. Once the glassing
is done you have to use cardboard to make templates for dividers....12 by
itself, 2 10's share an space, 6's each have thier own space. Each divider
has to be glassed then silicone sealed....zero leakage, tested with the
blow side of a shop vac. Then some bondo and lots of hand sanding.

No.....no lumber :o)

Looks great, Bob! Wow - there was a lot of work involved in
that (and now I can see why you're looking for more battery/amp
capacity) :-) I guess you won't be hauling any lumber or
construction debris anytime soon, eh? :-)

A quick fiberglass question: How do you go from the step where
you've got the wooden form all laid out to creating the curves in the
glass? Do you use chicken wire or some other support for the
fiberglass, or do you lay the cloth directly on the form?
