If yours was anything like the QuickD intake I had, then it's not all that
close. The QuickD still used the stock airhat, and the tube and filter were
smaller.

That looks just like the Quick D I bought several years ago - I guess that
would date me and my time on the list? What brand of filter did it come
with? I don't know about speed performance, but I think it gave me about
1-11/2 mpg increase.
