Yeah, I swapped in a 180 t-stat. It had a 185 in there already. I much
prefer it running at 180, especially since I plan on putting in the MP
SBEC once I get all these little repairs done. I hear the 180 makes it
a little less ping happy.

This is on a cool day, though (~55 degrees). I figure it'll run higher
with the AC on in the summer. Then again, I'm thinking about going to
an electric fan if nothing else so I can wire it to run when the AC is
on instead of relying on the clutch fan for airflow over the condenser
in traffic.

Not that factory gauges are remotely accurate anyhow. I'm still amazed
I can have the truck almost on "E" and it'll still only takes 16 gallons
for a 22 gallon tank.
