that might be a dirty tb even...

just another swag from Rascal...

Here is an update on me as some nice people asked.

I have a tumor, growing INSIDE my spinal cord, located, high up in my
neck. It is slowly growing and thus will eventually take my life
after paralyzing me. I have partial paralysis now in my hands, and my
feet.
My prognosis, initially, was quite bad. My prognosis now is better.
Luckily for me, the Mayo Clinic became interested in my case and I am
going to Rochester, MN. I will leave my beautiful KY home to travel
two days to the main clinic. The doctor they are connecting me is one
of the very best. I am so fortunate and so fortunate that this is not
Nat Health..."blue pill or red?"
I will have exams over Tues and Wed, then unknown date for surgery
where they will likely have to go in and remove the tumor. This cord
is full of nerves that are finer than hair. One crimp, and my outcome
would be "Christopher Reeves", a lifetime on a ventilator. A spinal
stroke, here, would be very bad for me. Christopher Reeves injury was
in the same spot that my tumor lives.
Good-they are successful, I have some mild tingling in my hands which
would subside, Bad, paralysis...
Either way, I have to take action because the tumor is growing.

I will do my best to let you know my outcome. If I show up here again
within the next two weeks or so,...I made it.
If not, I have left directions for my wife to let all of you know as
well. I have chosen that if I have to live on a ventilator, I will
unplug.

God willing I will return.

Thanks for all your friendships, support, jokes, fun, and prayers.
You really are a special group of people and I have loved hanging out
with all you. Glug, glug...

Your friend to the end,
Rascal
