Hydraulic clutch question....

Ok as stated in my last post, my clutch slave vomited out its plunger.

The FSM says that the slave can't be removed from the hydraulic lines
and the whole shebang from master to slave must be replaced at the same
time.

I've been to TWO auto parts places and both of them sell the parts
separately, which makes me assume there must be a way to separate them.

The new to me tranny came with a clutch slave, sans any hose. I've
pulled the little cotter pin but the "hose hub" (don't know what else to
call it) will spin [did that with the pin as well] but not budge in the
coming out direction.

Wondering how the replacement clutch slave attaches to the system.......
Also how to get the dead one off....

Jim
