Nope!

Unless it's stuck it might need some persuading it's a quick release setup.

you may have to tug hard to get the line to let go from the o-ring as it may stick. once you press in (or was it pull out?) on the plastic thingie i'd twist the tubing around and pull to get it unstuck.

Mine wasn't hard.

I replaced it on my '97 no problem, the line pops out when you push in
on the little white or yellow plastic part on the slave where the line
goes in. Just like most fuel lines do now.

OK so your saying I don't even need any tools to pop the old one off and
the new one on??
