I ended up getting OE parts from the dealer. The evap core is the exact one
I took out as well as the heater core, but the heater core except for new
looking foam, it looked used...uglier than the one I took out. I figured it
was returned by someone who kept the new and returned their old one. I
complained to the dealer and they delivered a new one...damm thing looks the
same. You ever see a new one? Does the copper get corroded / festered up by
just sitting? I'm afraid to put this thing in. The auto zone one looked new
and shiny as did the one nappa but they both looked like they were silver
soldered by a blind man and smaller in size as well

Thanks for the reply pal. Do you know who that mfr is? I stopped at autozone
today and both the heater and evap core were very crappy. I don't remember
the heater core mfr but the evap was Everco 4 Seasons 5804 / 54777.

Napa - They use the same manufacturer and they're about $50 less on the
evaporator.

Hey guys,
Any input from the guru's here as to whether I should buy dealer items or go
to nappa?
I normally go to nappa.....but I don't want to chance inferior parts
here.....I'm not doing this job again :o(
Thanks
Bob
