Actually, a shopvac probably won't get you much further. When they did
my truck, they had one of those big squirrel cage blowers - bigger than
what you would use on your furnace, probably 3' cubed. It took 2 guys
to carry it. Even at that, it was just a little stream of purple smoke
that came out...
