I should post some pics one day of what's left of my Gen II Dakota.
Still a daily driver.. but if we needed to pass any kind of tech..
My truck would be recycled so fast.
I've got damage on 3 of 4 corners.. cracked grill. repeatedly bent front bumper.
No functional cooling fan.
blown intake plenum gasket
possible cracked head
bent & worn steering rack
was a 2.5L now 3.9L
Check eng light been on since 2006
no speedometer
gas gage having nervous breakdown.
roof leaks.. from ?? I have no idea.
No A/C
has had spider gears welded, axles broken..
40 series flowmasters on and off of it..
Has had over 3000# IN the bed of it
10,000 behind it.. when it was still a 2.5L
Unrepaired from 4 accidents.
Minus LF turn signal assembly
RF signal Inop
Signals no longer self cancel
Drivers door wrong color..

In other words.. If you can make it move... It's good enough..
