There are a TON of Dakotas (and Durangos) in my pick n pull, but no reg cab long beds of any configuration/ generation there.

I think you're absolutely nuts for thinking about getting a used frame from CA or AZ rather than a whole truck, or rather than just building a frame from scratch. It just takes some steel box, a welder, and a tape measure - you'd be spending the same money and gaining a skill.... Didn't Xtreme 4x4 show building a frame for that garage built Scrambler project? Or did they do a catalog frame? meh, I'm sure they've done it before. It's not as big a deal as even rebuilding an engine or doing a full motor swap.

If you do find something in CA, I'm planning on going out there next spring for the King of the Hammers race whether we qualify next week or not, but that isn't until February.... Just for what it's worth.
