Guess I don't get it. Other than being parked if I'm running A/C or
defrost, that means the weather outside is bad enough I don't need the
windows down.

For when you're stopped. I'm slightly ashamed to admit, I do the same thing.
I haven't ever had any condensation problems though. Perhaps Chicago isn't
as humid as other locations.
