The new owner needs the cover, was part of the deal. I'm meeting him mid
January to give him the stock springs so I have to get it squared away by
then.

I thought so too. I'm planning on contacting them today again to see if
someone else there will see things my way before contacting their bbb and
any consumer protection website I can find.
