Is that a possibility? I was thinking the same thing.
But it is hard to imagine any scenario where it ran OK and then
lost a piston to dust.
Could it have been obliterated and then chewed up by the oil pump?
There is some answer to this mystery and maybe something the rest of
us are unaware of!
