I hate to say this..... but show me the CarFax!

Odds are if it had anything to do with a rental, probably got used and
abused. I'm sure they rented them, most rental outfits take whatever a
manufacturer has left over, then lets anyone with insurance do whatever to
them. I wouldn't touch it.
