I guess I neglected to mention that the duluth coat I have runs very large. I normally run 2x in everything, but I could have done 1x easily in this one.

Looks like I need a 4x, I measured my chest today and it's 57", which is
on the high end for a 3X. I found a jacket at JCPenney that's a 4x and
fit perfect but it's the same brand as the jacket I want to replace (has
a 1" tear from a rose bush turn into one long cut all the way down the
back of the jacket, kind of like a rock chip spreading across the entire
windshield. Not good.)

Of course not all 4x will fit my shoulders either, the Columbia I had
was 4x. :(
