I got it working, but not how Dodge designed. I took the hinge off, and
disconnected the bar (near the top of the hood) that "activates" the
spring.

PB Blaster on the pivot points took a bit but everything finally started
moving smoothly. The spring just won't work.

Basically, it closes now, but it only has strength from the driver's side
spring to hold it up. It doesn't stay up by itself, but nothing a 2x4
won't fix as a prop.

I'm happy now, as I can finally get it out fo my parents garage.
