I did not talk to Jeff. It was someone else, and I'd explained the
way we'd gotten the headers, and he (I forgot his name) did a partial warranty replacement, but it was a good price.
But going in, unarmed without refreshing my brain from the archives, I don't know if I'd been able to get a deal. And my recolection (for whatever 13 year old memories serve) was I thought they had a lifetime warranty (SS w/ceramic coating)
I too, see some rust on them and the shine is long gone. They have spent hours on end, tooling up and down Calif I-5 at 80+ mph, with the bed loaded. Climbing the Grapevine @ 70, I'm sure they were glowing red.

" The grade of the Grapevine was infamous for its high accident rate before the road was straightened and widened. There are escape ramps branching off both sides of the downward part of the road for heavy trucks whose brakes fail on this very long, steep and now straight grade. " Also, the setting for the song: In 1955, Charlie Ryan wrote and performed a popular song known as "Hot Rod Lincoln", about a kid who races his souped-up Lincoln against a Cadillac up the Grapevine Hill.

I've also recently burned out the drivers side upper control arm bushing, which has lasted be about 9 years since I switched to polyurethane. Replaced it with another poly set. Who was the buffoon that decided to offset the engine in the bay?

And, my limited slip, now is unlimited, I don't know if I should get it repaired, or an electric locker for the rear diff (4x2). I now have a 1/3 mile long dirt driveway in Northern Cal, with 60" of rain a year.
