Hey DML! Long time no talk. I've decided to start my own business and I
thought I'd give the DML an opportunity to get in at ground level. I'm
making shifter boots for the E30 BMW. Hey! Wait! This is a truck mailing
list.... That's where the problem lies. There are a lot of manual trans
trucks out there and I haven't seen any inexpensive quality looking shifter
boots available. I'd like to offer the DML the chance to get in on the
action. I'm looking for a volunteer to send me their boot to have it
remade in the fabric of their choice. After the first one is made then I
would begin offering them to others. What do you guys think? I'm thinking
the cost would be $15 - $20 shipped depending on the material used.

I realize that there's a little bit of the shifter showing through right
under the knob in some of the pics, with the knob all the way snapped down
you won't see this. I've also tightened up the stitching to prevent this
in the future. The boots are not secured at all in these pics.

Thanks,
Josh
