Rear Sliding Window

My rear window was leaking around the seal on the drivers side only.
By looking, I saw 2 or 3 different kinds of sealers had been used to fix it.
I got the bright ideal to remove the window, clean every thing and reinstall
with some molding adhesive.
Almost worked, got the window 85 to 90% removed when I busted out the right side piece of glass.
Upon checking, Safelite wants $320.00 for new rear slider installed.
I will have to drive 75 miles each way to get that done.
I can get a new slider online for $166.00 + $22.00 shipping, will need the urethane also,
at a cost of under $20.00 for every thing needed to install the glass.
I have watched all the videos and I think I can handle doing the work.
Which, in your opinions, would be my best way to go?
Or do any of you have a better solution?
I even took the old window in to see if the single pane could be replaced,
it can not.
Thanks for your input.
Tony
