Hi all -
Just wanted to introduce myself to the DML, and find out who else is out
there... I subscribed yesterday morning to the DML, and so far have only
received three messages, and one was a duplicate. Anyhow, good to be here,
glad there's other Dakota owners getting together to talk about "All Things
Dakota"...
My stats are as follows: I'm 28, I work as a Network Administrator at a
hospital in CT, and I just recently bought a '96 SLT Dakota V-8 5-speed 4x4,
and I LOVE IT!! I've had it a little less than a month, have already driven
it in the snow some, went on a coupla ski trips, and it's tons better than
the brand g truck I traded in....
Anyhow, I just wanted to see who else is on the DML, and see what kind of
traffic we can get going here... or maybe I'm just not receiving it??

I feel gypped... I didn't get any tray tables with my Dakota!! ;^)
I did get reclining seats, though... and a few other options....

Nice choice, is it auto or stick?? did you get the sure-grip?? how
about 4x4?
Has anyone driven both the V-8 and the V-6... I've heard the V-6 is a
little underpowered
for the size of the truck... although that's only scuttlebutt...
