30 yrs old, programmer, proud owner of a white 95 SLT Club Cab V-6 5-spd 4x4
w/Goodyear 235/15 AT tires.

I think it was the salesmen's manual at the dealership that I saw a comparitive
list of features for competitor trucks of the Dakota, including the Ford Ranger
and Chevy S-10, and maybe another one. One of the statistics I remember is that
the average driver age for the Dakota was the highest of them all; implying
that it appeals less to younger, sportier folk. It was highest but they were
all pretty close; maybe somewhere around 47.

what's sure-grip?

The only other truck I've had was a 86 Mazda B2000, 4 cylinder. So, this is
plenty powerful in comparison. For two weeks in October, almost daily, I hauled
7 adults around New England (six passengers and me), w/o noticing any lack of
power; 5 in the cab, and 2 on the bed.

What color did you get? I've seen some really nice colors. My favorite is this
two-tone green, that I've never seen anywhere else, on any other vehicle.
Unfortunately, all the nicest colors when I was shopping (Sept 95) were on the
automatic transmissions, and although I was tempted - I knew I would end up
regretting driving w/o the manual's control.
