& About those shocks, anyone know if the stock shocks are any different on the
& 2WD as opposed to the 4WD Dakotas?? I haven't experienced my truck being
& "bouncy" at all, well, the rear is a little bit bouncy, but I attributed
& that to almost no weight in the back, and the 4x4 suspension (again not sure
& if/how different from 2WD), but the front certainly hasn't been at all
& bouncy.

The 2WD and 4WD have COMPLETELY different front suspension.
Coil spring vs. torsion bar
4WD is 3" higher and at least 1" wider in front
rack and pinion vs. recirculating ball steering boxes.

I would guess the shocks are longer on the 4WD, maybe stiffer.
