Mine runs in the 12's (with a '72 bored out 360 and a 340 6 pack intake)

Probably will, I've seen Magnum Club Cab Dakotas with MP computer,
headers, and cat back exhaust run those numbers, and do it contantly.

I had the cam installed in my RAM 1500 over a year ago when it was new.
The dealer did some other stuff (under drive pullys and valve covers) at
the same time. They charged me $600 labor after selling me the 100,000
mile warranty.
If you want to go faster now, here's a few tips that cost you nothing:
1. Stage as shallow as you can and still turn on the second bulb.
Creep up on it if you have to, as long as you are moving forward, the
starter has to wait for you, so take your time here. This is good for a
10th in ET over staging deep, but your reaction time will suffer, so
leave at the first flash of amber on the third PAR38 bulb.
2. Stay out of someone else's water, especially if your track lets
FWD or street cars in the water box. Stay off dirty and dusty parts of
the starting line as well, look for VHT trails to drive in.
3. Drop your rear tire pressure to about 18 lbs. Drop the fronts a
little also, but not too much or you will increase your rolling
resistance more than a shallow start can compensate for.
If you install the cam, it will only make your starting line problems
worse unless you install a two-step rev. limiter (your Jacobs may be
capable of this already) and a line lock. Or learn to foot brake your
truck against the clutch. This requires three feet, but if you get good
at it and WIN races, as opposed to just going fast, someone will pay you
to drive!
good luck (always important, but the other stuff helps too)
