I friend of mine has a Shelby Dakota. I haven't driven it, but I've
ridden in it quite a bit, and looked around under the hood and under
the truck.
They took a shortbed Dakota and dropped in an anemic V8. It has very
small anti-sway bars front and rear. They put on different aluminum
rims, but for some crazy reason stuck to the factory 6" width.
225/70-15 Goodyear Eagle tires. And the strange flimsy uneless fake
lightbar/spoiler? in the bed. And a Shelby steering wheel. Otherwise
it is stock. Other than some possible collectors value it is nothing
special.
