Dave -

I had the driver side mirror on my '93 4x2 LE Club Cab V-8 replaced under
warranty due to excessive vibration. The replacement mirror is much
better than the original but still vibrates slightly as does the
passenger side mirror when a cross-wind is just right. I do have a bug
shield on my rig, but whether this contributes to the slight vibration of
the mirrors in a cross-wind, I do not know. The vibration isn't any
worse than that of the mirrors on my Dad's '94 Ford F150 XLT Super Cab.
I can live with it.

BTW, my dealer didn't hesitate in replacing the mirror under warranty
since this is such a well-know complaint.

Later!
