Well I attended the Mopar Expo and NE Dodge Dealers GP at Lime Rock this
past weekend and had a great time. Below are some of my hi-lites;

. Met up with Bill Countie (MML & Dakota Mailing List). I had a MML logo on
the windsheild of my car but didn't meet any one else. Anyone attend?

. My Daytona didn't win anything but SDAC-NE members took 3 of 4 trophies in
the Shelby Dodge Class and we signed up the owner of the winning car (a
white 89 Shelby Daytona). The goodie bag was worth the cost of admission it
self.

. One of the SDAC-NE members won VIP tickets to the GP on Monday and
graciously gave them to my wife and I.

. I have never seen so many hemi's in one place in my life. There was
multiple examples of most every model that had a hemi option.

. Got up close to the Viper Coupe. Got up Close to the Prowler. There were
several Caloway Viper Roadsters on display.

. If you have never seen a Ram Indy truck this was the place to be! Dodge
must of had 50 of them on hand. I counted 38 of them during the parade lap
before the racing on Monday.

. If you were looking for parts to restore a CC product the swap meet was
the place to be.

. The Neon Race was a hoot. I would rate it the most entertaining of the
racing events.

. The Dodge factory Stratus team was the class of the field in the Touring
Car race with 1 & 3 in leg one and 1 & 2 in leg two. During the interview
with Dominque Dobson after the race he hinted that if Dodge continues to be
successful they may go to Spain for the World Touring Car Championship in
the fall.

. The WSC, Trans-Am, Barber Dodge Pro, GTS-1, GTS-2, World Touring Sedan and
Neon Challenge cars were all impressive but I am a NASCAR fan at heart.

. Downer of the weekend; The Caloway Viper RT/10 died on the track infront
of the Barber Dodge pro cars and was unceremoniously pushed off the track
and was replaced with a Stealth for the remander of the races.
