I've been thinking about ordering the FIPK for my '96 Dakota as well, I
currently have just the stock air cleaner with the K&N filter. I've also
seen the ad for the 14" Chrome K&N air cleaner from Barrington Dodge and
Magnum Performance. What's the difference between the chrome K&N air
cleaner and the FIPK??? What happens to the crankcase breather hose and
the "pre-heat" duct from the grill to the snorkel on the stock air cleaner??
I figure while I'm waiting for MP to release the SBEC for the '96 Dakotas,
I can at least do some other small performance mods while I'm waiting (FIPK,
free flow exhaust, etc.)... Anyone else have ideas/suggestions???
