  Didn't Chrysler extend the Dakota's nose about 3" in '93, when they
introduced the Magnum engines? You may be in for a difficult
time wedging the V8 in your engine compartment. I know that clearance
is tight on my '95 w/V8.

  You'd probably have better luck with the V6.
