Do you have the Infinity sound system? If I remember correctly, the
Infinity speakers do have an amplifier built into them. It was for that
reason that I didn't get the Infinity system when I bought my truck, since
I was planning to upgrade the sound in the future.
I don't know this for sure, but I've been told that if you want to
upgrade the Infinity system, you're looking at an upgrade of the entire
system, since each component is kind of dependent on the rest of the
system being Infinity as well...
