& I have an 89 4by with the 3.9l 6 in it.. I have headers with 2 1/2in pipe
& to the back with no cat's just muffelers.. I went to get it inspected and
& it failed the emissions test.. No Big Suprise there.. But I was surprised
& on how close it was to passing.. Does anyone know if a new o2 sensor
& would make it run leaner.. I mean having an old O2 sensor would make the
& computer make the truck run rich right? So a sensor my put me on the
& passing side?
Don't count on it. Since it almost passed smog the O2 sensor seems to be
working fine. A new one will probably work the same.
