I have a 96 Dakota, club 4x4 V8 with posi- 3.90 rear end. I bought this
truck specifically to tow a 21' 5th wheel trailer and it hauls it (4050 dry
- 5800 lbs max) with no problem. You didn't mention how much your boat
weighs but I would definately recommend that you check out the gross trailer
towing capacities with the dealer before buying the truck. For a warranty
and a safety perspective you don't want your truck to be under equipped.
