My wife's '95 Ram Wagon has the Infinity system (didn't order it, bought it
off the lot) and I see 2 things wrong:
1. The system has 4 6x9 speakers: one each on the front door panels
and one each behind the rear wheel wells. THE REAR SPEAKERS ARE
NOT INFINITY!!! Only the pair in front! I'm still scratching my head over that
one and I don't know if this will apply to the option on the Dakota.
2. The system sounds just good enough to continue living. I cannot
justify ripping it out and spending $1000 or so on a good after-market
system.
Too bad I can't get Best Buy to blow it up and pay me $450, like they did
when they tried to install an Alphasonic amp to the factory Dakota
Premium radio. ("Sure, we do it all the time, no problem!")
