Frying the computer

Thank's to everyone for responding to my question.

The computer arived today and I had it installed about ten minutes after
UPS drove off. The instructions from Mopar did not indicate to
disconnect the bat cable. I didn't and nothing got fried. I went to
the road and immediately heard pinging in the engine (thanks to my final
tank of 89 octane). Ooops! forgot to empty that bottle of 104+ octane
booster in the gas tank. After adding the booster everything felt fine.
I can't say I feel a great deal of an increase in power but the truck
does definately have a different feel to it. Starting off from a red
light is much more comfortable now. I think the new computer changes
the speed at which the torque converter locks making smoother
acceleration. With the stock computer starting off from a red light
even with light pressure on the pedal resulted in the truck surging
forward. This was fun at times but in everyday driving it gets old.

Well, thanks again to everyone who responded.
