    Funny, my '95 Dakota w/ 3.90 gears, and 215/75/15's (5 speed) turns
exactly 2800 @ 80 mph..., 2250 rpm @ 70 mph... Mileage between the two
speeds is 17-18 mpg @ 70, and 14-16 @ 80 mph driving to Vegas ;)

Just curious, but where does everyone shift during normal driving??
My up shift light comes on at about 1800 rpm (or less) under light
acceleration... I usually shift at 2200-2500 rpm...Then there are
times when 5500 rpm is the norm! :p

..Sam SLT CC Dakota V8 MP SBEC, etc. etc.
