the 'debate' for some time now.
Here's what feel:
When I purchased my truck (4x2, not 2x4 that's lumber!) I WANTED the 4x4
option, but couldn't get the price within reason. I couldn't justify the extra
$50.00 in the payment (that puts things over $400!), nor could I deal with the
extra insurance ($45 month full coverage vs. $75 full coverage on 4x4) Add to it
the additional maint (now matter how little), and fuel costs (every penny
counts!).
God knows I NEED a 4x4 with all of my trips to the river, dunes, etc... But
with my 4x2 & suregrip diff. I have done quite well...Even in SNOW! So there are
plus's and minus's to both... If I had a 4x4 I would definately use it!!! But I
will continue to make due with what I have.
Unfortunately my next truck will probably be ....a Dodge RAM.... Club Cab/4x4
w/ the 5.9 CUMMINGS!!! (Don't through things at the screen ! I know) That'll be
4-5 years from now... And they probably won't make them then, but that's what I
want...when I get OLDER!

C'mon I want to pull my (future) '28 5th wheel with my (future) '21 jetboat
behind it!!
#1 on my wish list would be : 4x4, club cab, long bed, 5.9 V8 w/ R/T pkg!
