I have not heard anything specific to Chrysler, but... It seems
all manufactures were haveing problems back then. I had a 91 Chevy
S10 before my Dakota, and the Chevy developed pealing paint in 1995
and GM repainted it. I was told at that time, that they were just about
ready to stop allowing the dealers to waranty the paint on that model/year.
So I'd recomend you ask your dealer about your car, but it may be a little
too old for them to be very receptive to painting it for free.
