I agree with James, as long as your oil press is in the green, and you don't
sidestep the clutch at 5000 rpm, you will be okay. In 30 degree weather, I
crank up my Dak and as soon as the oil pressure stabilizes, I leave,.as for
break in on both my Daks, I run 10W-40 for 1000 miles then 10W-40 to the 5000
mark,
then swich to 5W-50 fully synthetic for break in, I am using a semi syn blend
by Q-state called 4x4 with good results so far (been in the motor twice).
