K&N FIPK installation

I just ordered the K&N FIPK and it should be here sometime next week.
My question is what is the procedure for removing the stock airbox? I
haven't tried this yet and just wondered if it is simple or if it is
more complex. Also how does the FIPK attatch? The same way the stock
airbox did? Will it have good instructions?
