Computer Chip

Dakota'ites:

I have recently purchased a 97 Dakota Club Cab Sport with the 318 Magmum. I love it!! It
was assembled in October of 96 and there is a shimmey in my seat at 30 MPH. Last week I
was at Dodge City (Warren Truck) where they assemble both the Ram and the Dakota. I
asked about the shimmey and was told take it back to the dealer and they will reposition
the rear axle, then the shimmey will go away. That is FYI to those that care.

Also the Dakota and Rangler will be assembled at the Newark, DE plant starting sometime
this year. Another FYI.

Now for the reason for this mail. Does anybody know anything about these computer chips?
Like are they any good? Do they really increase gas mileage and performance? I have
heard that they tend to destroy catalytic converters. Is that true? I am curious. Who
knows something? And what do you know? Where can a chip be purchased? And where is it in
the vehicle? Thanks!!
