For those of you who have made the Y-pipe upgrade (getting the stock pinched
tubes
replaced with mandrel-bent 2" pipes) Gibson just came out with shorty
headers for the
'95 318. They have 1 1/2" primaries and bolt directly to the Y-pipe and
are supposedly
good for 15 hp. The guy at Gibson I spoke to said they retail for $449 and
include gaskets
and bolts. I don't know if Doug Thorley headers replace the Y-pipe but if
it does, these
might be the better way to go for $50 more.
