i'm not sure what area of the country you live in so i can't speculate
on the emmissions laws in your area but here's an idea.....one of the
new magnum crate motors would be a killer combo in your '89. 360
c.i.d. and your choice of 300 or 380 h.p.!!! my '97 318 sport is my
first mopar so as for what trans and rearend would live behind one of
these motors i'll leave to someone else on the 'list'. any suggestions
     anyone?

I'm in the process of refurbishing an older Dakota. It's a 87 long bed 4x4 SE,
3.9L
(carbureted), A998 auto,

Anybody have any ideas? I'm also looking for info on performance mods for the
early 3.9.
Is it worth it? How about a swap for a later Magnum motor? Anybody done it?

Ive got about 22,000 ($) good reasons to keep this truck.
