That would be the A body kind. I think any 8 3/4 from a 68-72
Dart/Demon/Duster A body will fit the closest.

Probably something like that ... the Mopar Performance Chassis book
should give the dimensions for all the 8 3/4 axle housings. To fit
one of these in the Dak you might have to relocate the spring perches
on the axle. Also, don't know if they'll work with sway bar/mounting
configurations on the Dak. BTW, Is there a leaf spring relocation kit
available to move the springs inboard and squeeze bigger tires under
there? Is it necessary?

Remember here that its not really the axle/housing that has to hold
up but rather the center case. Like Rob said, its the 8 3/4" *unit*.
There were a coupla different cases put in these axles and they all
interchange. Historically, the "489" case seems to be the most
bullit proof.
