I put down a Neon today with my '95 3.9 auto 4x4 CC. As I was getting on
the Interstate, there was a Neon about a quarter length behind me in the
lane I needed to merge into. As it turns out, the Neon driver wanted to
exit ( in Norfolk, Va, alot of our on and off ramps are the same ramp ),
but felt the need to speed up and exit in front of me. This would have
caused me to slow down instead of accelerate to merge with traffic.
There was traffic behind the Neon and an opening in front so I opted for
the opening. The Neon driver, a female, gave me the single finger
salute. I thanked her for the offer, but I had other places I needed to
be.
