We found that the punkin was not welded to the axle housings, actually it
was welded, but not burnt into the axle housings. They put the parts order
on some kind of fast track and a complete new rear end should arrive Monday
w/driveshaft. Only had a couple of minor scratches on the bed
cross-member, above the rear yoke. It looked as though it was a good thing
I ordered the skid plate package or the gas tank may have been punctured
(yoke of the driveshaft hit the vertical skid plate support).
Still awaiting delivery of my new truck, that was delivered. Hummm!!!!!!
