Glenn,
you are correct about the fender flares, there are about 8 torx head
holding each one on.
Word to the wise:
If any one is planning on removing their fender flares, do it ASAP.
if you wait like I did, the outer lip of the fender will have little
scratches that go all the way to the metal and can not be repainted
barring major repainting of the truck.
