I would think so. The MSD6a would probably only really shine if you
ran the truck at the strip or really rev the shit out of it in daily
driving. I had always been led to believe the MSD-6's, Crane HI-6's
and such really showed their stuff when you make a serious increase in
the air into and outof the motor. That's not to say a "6" wouldn't
make a difference on a mostly stock motor but you have to weigh the
probably marginal gain for an additional $50. $50 would pay for the
K&N or a Flowmaster! Let everyone know what you decide and what kind
of difference it makes after installation.
