     I saw a thread a few weeks back on the Ram H.Q. website about gas
     mileage. Everyone there seemed to agree that you won't start seeing
     realistic mileage out of a Magnum until you get like 6000-8000 miles
     on it. For me anyway that's fine. This truck is too damn much fun to
     worry about the gas mileage for now. If I wanted to get good mileage
     I would have bought the 4 banger.

Woa, hey. What's this about the 'smart rear view mirror'? Any other
new '97 gadgets we might be interested in?
     
BTW, my 93 V8 auto averaged 15MPG. Sometimes 13 around town with foot
to the floor. Lowest was 11 towing about 2-1/2 tons of trailer.
