I couldn't live with myself any longer. I HAD to know
how much HP my truck really was putting out...
SO....
I went to 'The Dyno Shop' near my house. Turns out they
are 1 of 2 Dyno places in San Diego... They run a Dynojet model
#248C dynamometer (at least that's what it says on the printout!)

Oh, sorry you probably wanted to know the results huh???
:) :) :)
Well, I got a print out with graphs and lines, then a
comparison to a Dodge 1500 with a 5.9 with the MP SBEC, then the
same truck with all of the stuff I have minus the MP SBEC, but with
a Vortech Supercharger...
Here's the #'s of my truck first Measured Torque. Measured
Hp, then corrected T and corrected HP..

Above 4400 the HP drops off on a steady curve, the
torque drops at the same rate...
The torque is pretty much a flat line with a slight
rise around 3200 towards 3700, then curves down
at the same rate as the HP.
We compared this to a 5.9L Ram, and my HP @ 211.1
beat his 202 (until the a SuperCharger reading was shown!).
The torque of the 5.9L and my truck were nearly identical
at 277.2 for me, and 275.0 for him.
The readings are in smaller increments, I only listed
the ones that had any significant changes... I'll scan
in the pages so anyone can view them... NEAT STUFF eh?
