Since I'm cheap, we don't have mandatory garbage pickup, and don't mind
doing a little grunt work I haul my own garbage to the transfer station.
With a SixPac canopy, rubber bed mat, me and about 40# of empty garbage
can my Dakota weighs out at 4200-4300# depending on how much gas is in the
tank (22 gal=154# +/-).
An S10 or Ranger either one is a tin can compared to the Dakota!
